Guitarist and electronic musician Hunter Brown needed a way to automatically change & monitor the outgoing MIDI information from his Livid CNTRL:R as he triggers different songs throughout the set. Matt Davis of [namethemachine] built a patch in Max/MSP which allows Hunter to select a song via his Launchpad and his controller will automatically transmit control values for that song. He now has full use of his controller for every song without having to worry about overlapping mappings or turning devices on & off inside of Ableton.
